Toni Abela didn’t stand an ice-cube’s chance in hell. He got nine votes for and 17 against from the European Parliament Budgetary Commission.
HURRAH. There is a God. The Pole who was quizzed before Abela was rejected too. So was the Slovakian candidate. You can see a pattern here: places with lots of corruption and cronyism, nominating corrupt and inept cronies for the gravy-train.
