Government renames Corradino Road: now it’s Dom Mintoff Road

Muscat’s government is bending over backwards to make itself as popular as possible: cronyism, corruption, top-secret companies in Panama, selling Maltese citizenship, visas and residence permits to crooks and weirdoes, getting into bed with Maltese builders and every desert kingdom camel-trader who will have them, and now: Dom Mintoff Road. And after taking Muammar Gaddafi’s money for decades to bankroll their sordid political party, they’ve finally – after three years in government – taken a deep, deep breath and renamed Gaddafi Gardens to Mediterranean Gardens. Now they’re hoping the sky won’t fall on their head.
