On the latest electoral roll, Konrad Mizzi and Sai Mizzi Liang are registered at ‘Inez’, 90, Triq Qalb Ta’ Gesu, Paola.
The Labour Party and the Triad have been at great pains to spread the false rumour that Mrs Konrad Mizzi is the daughter of some mysterious politically influential and fabulously rich Chinese figure without a name, this being their way of conjuring up some glamour for an otherwise very weird man and, more pertinently, a way of explaining away his property transactions and his (money-laundering) set-up in Panama.
‘Inez’ in Triq Qalb Ta’ Gesu, Paola is exactly where you would expect to find the daughter of a Chinese gadzillionaire mover and shaker, isn’t it.
This island defies belief at times.
