Michael Farrugia, Minister for the Family – a divorced man with a girlfriend young enough to be his daughter, Amanda Mifsud, who he installed on the state payroll with a permanent sinecure at Identity Malta (he had previously left his wife for a nurse) – was in Naxxar yesterday for a chest-beating celebration of the Risen Christ. He parked his official car, wearing government-business plates on Easter Sunday, on a bus-stop.
