Muscat must have been working to order to bring the government down in 2012

This is something I wrote on 11 January 2013, when the country was in the throes of Malta Taghna Lkoll campaign hysteria and everybody seemed to be drunk on Joseph. Looking back now, that period was like a really bad case of tulip mania, and now that everybody’s sobered up, it’s almost embarrassing to look back at the Joseph frenzy of 2012 and early 2013.

In any case, this ‘flash of insight’, read in retrospect, looks like exactly that, given what transpired.
