They’re hiding their crimes even from their own people

This is a story reported on iNews, the news portal owned by the General Workers Union, last September.

It reports how Interpol had ‘found’ Lalit Modi in Malta, and how iNews was expecting his arrest at any time because of the Interpol red notice issued against him. “The Police in Malta have not yet given any information about the case,” the General Workers Union news portal reported.

They had no idea that when he arrived in Malta, Lalit Modi was given VIP treatment by the government, ushered through the airport’s ministerial lounge, and chauffeured off by a car and driver from the Office of the Prime Minister. He had come to collect his Maltese passport, as a new citizen of Malta. Now that he is a Maltese citizen, extradition to India is going to be a little problematic.

Message to iNews: I know you think of them as your own people, but really, you can’t trust those bastards. They’re lying even to you.
