Mario Frendo, a journalist with the Opposition’s news media, broke the story at 1am last night (with film footage) of the upstairs windows at the Prime Minister’s Office lit but shuttered, and the main door open and guarded by a sentry. So this morning Newsbook – the online news portal owned by the church media – asked the government’s head of communications, Kurt Farrugia, what was going on.
They were only discussing the lion at the Montekristo zoo which mauled a child, he said.
