Chicken-brains of Malta, unite

So Janice Bartolo – she with the drone and the inch-tape and the Labour Party TV mike – has put up a new Facebook cover picture, featuring herself and Noddy, the Justice Minister.

And the chicken-brains of Malta (for they are not unique to the Labour Party but an indelible unthinking feature of Maltese irrationality) have rushed in to say “God bless you”.

God bless you? I can think of many things that you could say in response to a picture like that, even for those who want to be nice and suck-up, but ‘God bless you’ most certainly is not one of them. People on this island are so WEIRD.

This is a man who left his wife and young child for a single woman, who already has a child by somebody else, who targeted him deliberately, including posting provocative pictures of herself on Facebook round about the time she was sharking him (that was the naked-against-the-wall stage).

I think if God is going to bother blessing anyone at all in this scenario, it’s the wife and child who were left to fend for themselves, and the boy Janice is bringing up in this situation.

They can do what they like, quite frankly, but you really must have the brain of a barnyard fowl to think ‘God bless you’ is an appropriate response. Kemm huma injoranti l-Maltin – tal-ghageb.
