Chris Cardona, the Minister responsible for the Malta Gaming Authority, has given information in parliament (in response to a question by the Opposition) on the value and number of director orders given to Brian Tonna by that state authority: €170,000 last year alone.
Tonna has a desk in the Office of the Prime Minister and has been a financial adviser to the Prime Minister’s chief of staff, Keith Schembri, for the last 20 years. He also set up secret companies in Panama and trusts in New Zealand for Schembri and for the Prime Minister’s de facto second-in-command, Konrad Mizzi.
