Europe’s most hilarious headline – up now

Konrad Mizzi has declared to parliament his Panama company and New Zealand trust. This is several days after a 13-hour debate in parliament – about just these things – in which those on the government benches avoided the subject altogether and he mentioned it only in passing.
What do I always say? Malta is crazy. And I mean, really, really crazy.
It must be the only place in the world where a cabinet minister, instead of resigning when the wall of secrecy around his Panama company and New Zealand trust collapses through a freak set of circumstances, declares them to parliament and carries on using them.
What an astonishing place – in all the wrong ways.
