Karl Gouder to take Albert Fenech’s seat in parliament

The Nationalist Party has just released a statement saying that Karl Gouder, who is the mayor of St Julian’s, will be taking Albert Fenech’s seat in parliament. Fenech, a cardiologist, resigned his seat a few days ago because of difficulties with his medical career.
The decision was taken, the statement said, by the party’s administrative council and executive committee. Gouder was a member of parliament between 2010 and 2013 but was not elected in the 2013 general elections.
