The Prime Minister is off to sell Maltese passports in Lebanon in the thick of this crisis

Henley & Partners is advertising the fact that the Prime Minister of Malta will be in Lebanon on Wednesday to promote the sale of Maltese passports at another of its citizenship sales conventions.

He is doing this in the thick of the Panama Papers crisis which has hit not just his government but Malta itself. And he is doing it when the government’s contract with Henley & Partners stipulates that any other cabinet minister can do the sales pitch and it doesn’t have to be the Prime Minister himself. We haven’t seen the contract (it’s another secret one) but that is what the Minister of Janice has claimed on the record.
