I am sick to the gills of all these lies

One of the things that maddens me most about the corrupt Labour Party is the way it various exponents abuse of people’s gullibility and worst, the lack of education in this benighted island about even the most basic things.

“I did not sign any requests for bank accounts to be opened for me,” that conniving liar, the Minister of Health and Energy, has said repeatedly since the news first broke – thanks to the Australian Financial Review – that Mossack Fonseca tried two banks, in Dubai and Panama, and in a later story, that they had tried another six banks, including banks in the Caribbean.

This fraud, who holds the two most powerful and potential lucrative government portfolios, banks on the fact that probably around 90% of the population doesn’t know that it’s not a company’s OWNERS who give instructions to banks and for bank accounts, but a company’s DIRECTORS – most specifically, its managing director.

Konrad Mizzi owns the company but he is not a director or officer of the company. Mossack Fonseca approached the banks because the directors are provided by them as fronts and nominees. The company is, however, Konrad Mizzi’s and the money going into the company account will be his, and not that of the nominee directors provided by Mossack Fonseca.
