TVM’s head of news hasn’t got a clue what news is
What is the topic of discussion on TVM’s hard-hitting interview programme, Dissett, tonight? Valletta 2018, European Capital of Culture, with Jason Micallef and Stefan Zrinzo Azzopardi. The show is produced and hosted by TVM’s head of news, Reno Bugeja, and this is his first show since Panama Papers broke last Sunday.
Meanwhile, the Prime Minister has come out of hiding and is safely ensconced on a red padded chair in the Labour Party’s television studio with Ramona Attard, a person in a state-funded ‘position of trust’ who doubles up as a Labour TV show-host.
Now Chris ‘Surreali’ Cardona, the Minister for the Economy, has popped in too, and they are hard at work creating an alternative reality in which poor, vulnerable Labour TV reporters and disabled members of the Labour Youth Forum are beaten up by hostile and aggressive demonstrators outside the Courts of Justice.
