BREAKING NEWS: PM’s chief of staff has secret company in Gibraltar and is linked to another one in Cyprus

There have been more developments in the ongoing scandal-without-end concerning the Prime Minister’s chief of staff. Information has reached me – which has been confirmed – that Keith Schembri owns yet another secret company, concealed from the Maltese authorities (when he forms part of the government). It is registered in Gibraltar, another offshore jurisdiction.

Schembri is also linked to, and may well be the owner of, a fourth secret company: Holdforth Ltd, registered in Cyprus (registration number ΗΕ 158225) on 4 March 2005. It was formerly called Netquik Ltd.

This brings the known tally – so far – of the Prime Minister’s chief of staff’s secret companies to three and possibly four: in Panama, the British Virgin Islands, Gibraltar, and possibly Cyprus.

This information does not form part of the Panama Papers.
