Joseph Muscat: the Donald Trump factor

There’s an article in The New York Times today, titled ‘How much bad press does it take to cost Donald Trump a news cycle?’
It quotes J. Tucker Martin, a Republic communications strategist in Virginia, who says about Trump: “He is the first candidate to truly take advantage of the fact we are an A.D.D. society. He moves so quick and creates outrages so fast, you almost forget what happened.”
That’s exactly what Muscat does. And in fact, the only scandals which have stuck are the ones over which he had no control, and which he hoped would never see the light of day – most notoriously, the offshore activities and corruption of his closest associates.
