The Prime Minister’s chief of staff tells the Labour Party’s TV station that there is no investigation into how information reports about him and his managing director were printed on stationery for a branch of HSBC that had closed more than a year earlier – and Super One reports that there is no investigation without attempting to speak to the bank and without saying what the issue is all about.

And a day later, a lawyer acting for the Prime Minister’s chief of staff writes to The Malta Independent and says that the newspaper should have assumed that the bank used the wrong stationery.
