The mayor of Zurrieq is a total disgrace

What sort of people elect a man like this? Natius Farrugia was elected on the Labour ticket, so we have half our answer there already. But the Labour Party really cares nothing for standards in accepting him, and you just have to ask yourself why the people of Zurrieq would really want to brand themselves as a village of half-wits represented by a man like this.

In this edition, a bunch of people – including the mayor of Zurrieq – went to the Philippines. I watched a bit of it last week (I was at somebody else’s house) and my only thought was: “exporting Maltese hamallagni to the world”.
