Shady operators – Cardona and Muscat are like a couple of Maltin ta’ Soho

People are going on about Mafia this and Mafia that. I wouldn’t go so far. Basically, they’re just a bunch of 1950s/1960s Maltin ta’ Soho types who found they could now do business at home. That’s the mentality and the socio-cultural background you’re looking at here.

If I had been one of the Sliema-type suckers who voted to put these crooks into power, I’d be crawling on my belly in shame and embarrassment. Imma l-aqwa li “we never thought it would be like this” u “he cheated us”. Jahasra. Cheated mature adults in their 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s and, like a certain columnist for the Times of Malta, 80s? And then everybody else has to pay the price for their frigging stupidity, gullibility and, let’s face it, spite and malice.
