This is the sort of big news that might have generated excitement in Gwida in 1971. I’m just trying to imagine the BBC or RAI running a big, prominent story (and tweeting about it) about how Bath or Parma are on the cover of the Hollywood Reporter. The ‘look, we’re famous outside the village’ mentality is alive and well among Malta’s hefty fossil collection.
