The unscrupulous Henley & Partners has produced a report in which it says that “Malta’s citizenship scheme” has taken its number-one spot. Well, obviously it has – Henley & Partners doesn’t have any other EU passports to sell other than Malta’s. What is the competition – St Kitts & Nevis?

Totally disgusting. This is the one bull that the Nationalist Party has so far not taken by the horns. While it is obvious in terms of policy and limitation of reputational damage to Malta that the Opposition should promise to thrown Henley & Partners out and put an end to this super-tacky selling of Maltese passports/citizenship, it is probably concerned that all those who are busy slicing up the goose that lays the golden eggs will go nuts with anger and vote against the Nationalist Party in 2018. And that includes many people who ‘support’ the Nationalist Party and who are even linked to it, and who are right now gagging with money-lust after every South African, Russian, Middle Eastern camel-trader and Chinese, trying to sell him and his extended family Maltese citizenship and a house or flat.

It’s such a shame that this isn’t drummed into everybody’s head at school.
