The Brexit vote: pressure to break up the United Kingdom is now inevitable

Look at this map, and consider how small England and Wales are when left without Scotland and Northern Ireland. Then consider the inevitable crash in London if that happens. Towers? Skyscrapers? Financial hub? Middle Eastern potentates buying up Belgravia? Forget it. London is what it is because Britain is in the European Union. People who live there know this, and that is why they voted overwhelmingly for Britain to remain.
