Opposition deputy leader Beppe Fenech Adami said this morning that Alfred Mifsud’s position as deputy governor of the Central Bank is now untenable in the face of serious allegations of “fraud, corruption and money-laundering”.

He said that the police are doing the right thing in starting an investigation, but that they should do the same with Konrad Mizz and Keith Schembri.
