Labour deputy leadership: standards continue to plummet

So now we know, thanks to the fact that the Economy Minister’s chief of staff’s Mercedes car was set on fire in Sappers Street, Valletta, that Cardona left the Labour Party’s electoral assembly where he fought for the deputy leadership post, late last night, and headed straight for the notorious Stable bar with his chief of staff Mario Azzopardi, yet another man who is estranged from his wife on account of a girlfriend.

The Minister himself was thrown out of the family home in Madliena by his second wife last year, on account of his cheating (his first marriage ended because of similar reasons), and has been living in luxury flats and penthouses ‘borrowed’ from businessmen associates ever since.
