Juncker on the subject of how Johnson and Farage have fled

Jean-Claude Juncker, the president of the European Commission, has said that Boris Johnson and Nigel Farage are quitters who have fled at the prospect of what lies ahead.
“Patriots don’t resign when things get difficult. They stay,” he said in Strasbourg yesterday. “Instead of developing the plan, they are leaving the boat.”
His sentiments are shared by many, not least by furious British people.
