Konrad Mizzi plays with a rubber dinghy at Selmun after refusing to speak to journalists
Last Saturday morning, Konrad Mizzi walked in to a public dialogue meeting in the Listening Government series, to a standing ovation, and spoke about ‘developments’ in the two portfolios of which the Prime Minister has supposedly stripped him: health and energy.
He then walked past journalists, refusing to answer their questions about the Panama Papers debacle and the “international audit” of his financial affairs.
Thanks to a reader who sent in photographs taken at Senglea Creek, we know that the corrupt Minister in the Office of the Prime Minister then headed straight for a jaunt on a yacht owned by an unidentified friend.
Now, thanks to another reader who was on the secluded beach at Selmun, we know that they dropped anchor there and the Minister in the Office of the Prime Minister spent some fun time fooling about with his friends, his children and a rubber dinghy, conspicuous by his unhealthy pallor and his child-like enthusiasm.
His two children are currently in Malta for their once-yearly two-week visit, which always takes place in July. For the other 50 weeks of the year, they are in China.
