What sort of political party would make this man its leader?
You’ve got it. Poor Joseph Muscat just missed being able to vote for Karmenu Mifsud Bonnici. He turned 18 a month before the general elections of 1992, in which 45% of Maltese electors voted to have this man replace Eddie Fenech Adami as prime minister. So Muscat wouldn’t have been on the electoral roll, which back then was published in April and October.
But never mind, his parents and grandmother were among those 45%. Imagine being raised with that kind of political formation, by parents who looked at Eddie Fenech Adami in his glory years as prime minister between 1987 and 1992, and thought, “Karmenu Mifsud Bonnici would be better.”
No wonder he’s so corrupt and has no respect for the electorate or ethical standards to speak of.
This book will be published soon, and will take its rightful place alongside the books about (Nationalist) government corruption written by Labour Party functionaries Joseph Muscat and Glenn Bedingfield for Sensiela Kotba Socjalisti, back in the days when they were not on the public payroll.
