Speaker of the House tried to convince Opposition MPs to accompany him to Baku

The Speaker of the House, Anglu Farrugia, tried to convince some Nationalist MPs to accompany him to Baku as observers at Aliyev’s referendum, telephoning them behind the party whip’s back.
When they refused, he tried to cajole them by saying, “Isma, ħa jħallsuna ta.”
