Hospital privatisation contract: Medical Association of Malta to formally request National Audit Office investigation

The Medical Association of Malta, which represents doctors and other medical professionals, will next week make a formal request to the National Audit Office for an investigation of the hospital privatisation contract which Konrad Mizzi signed with Vitals Global Healthcare, a shell company whose ultimate beneficial owners are concealed by nominees in the British Virgin Islands.

They will be joined in this request by the workers union UHM, which represents the majority of workers at the state hospitals.
