Luke Dalli: throwing his considerable weight around

Luke Dalli, who was given a permanent post on the state payroll after March 2013 because his mother is a government minister (whose chief of staff is former Lorry Sant thug Ronnie Pellegrini), has been throwing his considerable weight around again.

This morning he drove into Valletta, presumably for his Malta Arts Council job, and parked his car in a slot reserved for executives of the Grand Harbour Regeneration Corporation, near Hastings garden at the bottom of South Street.

Nobody at the Grand Harbour Regeneration Corporation is going to protest about it, of course. The corporation is led by another crony – Stefan Zrinzo Azzopardi, former president of the Labour Party, and former Labour Party deputy leader Michael Falzon, who resigned from his post as parliamentary secretary for lands, has been put on the payroll there too.
