Muscat might as well come clean about the Alitalia deal falling through

An Italian national newspaper reports that Alitalia will need more capital injection by the year’s end. And this is the airline that Muscat and his corrupt government has been claiming will be Air Malta’s strategic partner, and that it will “buy” the failing Maltese airline.

Over the past few days, Muscat has been warming us up slowly to the fact that he doesn’t wish to announce outright: that negotiations with Alitalia have fallen through, and that they were a non-starter to begin with.
