Why bother with a new logo when you have a perfectly servicable one already?

The Maltese government has launched its logo for the 2017 presidency. It seemed strangely familiar – unsurprisingly, as it turned out. Just reverse it, fiddle around with the colours and angles a bit, and send in a very large invoice.
