Police corruption: Young man charged in 24 hours for ATTEMPTING to knife brother/Dom Mintoff’s daughter and grandson almost kill a man and are not arrested or charged

Two brothers in their 20s got into a fight using knives in their home yesterday. Less than 24 hours later, one of them has been arraigned on charges of trying to grievously injure the other.

Neither brother was wounded, or even scratched – let alone stabbed in the stomach and kept in the state hospital’s intensive care unit for several days.

The brothers were in their own home just as Yana Mintoff, her son Daniel Mainwaring, and Gheorghe Popa – who one of the other two stabbed in the stomach and almost killed – were in their own home.

But – wham, bang – one of the brothers was in court the very next morning, probably after having spent the night at the Police Hotel in Floriana. But Dom Mintoff’s daughter and grandson are still running around as they please, and because both have American passports they can flit off for good pending extradition.

Meanwhile, the Police have tried to keep the press quiet by saying that they “do not exclude pressing charges”. If they do press charges, in their vast corruption it will be against Popa, the victim.

His serious wounds led to his being kept in the state hospital’s intensive care unit for several days. But neither she nor her son has been arrested and charged by Malta’s extremely corrupt police force.
