‘My friends of the Far Right’ – swinging with the Trump/Putin zeitgeist, Muscat is off to Russia

Joseph Muscat, who came to power with false talk about liberal values (false because he hasn’t any, but used gay issues to get into government) is off to Putin’s homophobic, anti-democratic, anti-European, anti-free-speech Russia for a spot of talks about something that is none of Russia’s business: Malta’s presidency of the Council of the European Union, which starts in January.

They will also talk about “investment”, which will probably translate into yet another troupe of shysters, this time from obscure parts of the Russian Federation, coming to Malta to launder money while taking what they can, and possibly snapping up another couple of hundred of EU passports along the way, courtesy of Joe Vella Bonnici and the Minister for Noddy, who is supposed to be responsible for all that but is more concerned with his personal ambitions and his travails with Miss Bartolo.
