What price all that fuss about Arriva, now?

The journalists and campaigners who cooperated with the Labour Party before 2013 in making public buses the biggest issue ever, and Arriva public enemy no. 1, really deserve a good hiding.
Look at the consequences. The Labour Party didn’t have a plan, and it could persuade the Spanish people over to run the show only by paying them tens of millions in subsidies.
Arriva had a subsidy of €8 million in 2012. But last year alone, the Spanish operators Autobuses de Leon received a subsidy of €23 million.
