Did the Prime Minister mention to us that he’d be going to New York City?

I don’t think so. I don’t recall seeing a press statement or anything in the newspapers. But he was meant to speak at the Henley & Partners shindig this Friday and Noddy is set to be dispatched instead.

And around an hour ago, a Maltese New Yorker bumped into him in Times Square, when he was skulking around incognito. I must admit I examined this photograph very closely, thinking at first it was a cardboard cut-out of the Prime Minister and not the man himself.

Sneaked off to visit his chief of staff, has he? That statement is even more pressing now.

Meanwhile, a note to the Prime Minister’s multifarious aides: do get him some new, smaller clothes. Please.
