The Establishment is an entrenched group of power-brokers and decision-makers in any system. So what exactly is a prime minister if not right at the top and forefront of the Establishment. Joseph Muscat, Konrad Mizzi and Keith Schembri are, right now, the Establishment personified. Fortunately, their position is not permanent and a sufficient number of votes will render factual Muscat’s until now fatuous claim that he is “not part of the Establishment”.
