Cancer patient says: “I agree with Salvu Mallia”
A regular reader has just sent in this comment in response to Nationalist Party candidate Salvu Mallia’s comparison of the Labour Party to cancer in the country.

Earlier this year I found out that I have cancer, and have since had a serious operation and radiotherapy. I did not blame it on God, nor on anything else except maybe chemicals in food, or the air we breathe (car fumes, not the power station) or maybe genes.
So I know first hand what cancer is, and the effect it has physically and psychologically on the patient and his family.
I just want to put you in the picture before I say that I agree fully with what Salvu Mallia said. He was not insensitive to cancer patients.
The Labour government and its corruption is turning out to be quite a nasty cancer which is metastasising into all spheres of life, and it needs to be removed before Malta dies.
Calling a spade a spade is not insensitive. The Nationalist Party leadership had better ditch the kid-gloves, roll up its sleeves and get ready to muck it out.
