Prime Minister’s wife and children flying home in business class

UPDATE 9.45PM: Mrs Muscat, Soleil and Etoile have landed and were met on the apron by a chauffeur in a BMW.

As foreseen by this website, Mrs Muscat turned one daughter’s choir trip to Vienna into a week’s holiday for the three of them alone, bridging two public holidays and missing two days of school. They are flying home right now on Air Malta, travelling in business class.

Given that this is a private holiday and that they never spend their own money if they can, let alone on things like business class fares, we should be told whether Mrs Muscat bought three tickets in economy class and was abusively upgraded for free, or whether their tickets were, even more abusively, funded by the public purse.
