Somebody has pointed out on this comments board that the Labour Party’s 2013 general election battle-cry, Taghna Lkoll, translates into Cosa Nostra.
I thought about it for a while, because it had never occurred to me. And yes, it does. I don’t think Joseph Muscat and Keith Schembri meant it to be that way. But there you go. Some Freudian slips are more Freudian than others.
