CapitalOne: looks like Muscat and Schembri didn’t get the result they wanted

A while back, the Prime Minister commissioned an inquiry into this matter, hoping that it would somehow implicate the deputy Opposition leader and they could go to town with the result.
The press/public were told over the weekend that the report had been submitted to the Prime Minister and that it would be published yesterday – obviously to coincide with the PANA Committee session in Valletta. But it wasn’t published at all, and when the press asked about it, the Prime Minister’s Office responded that the report “affects important institutions in the country”, so it will “be analysed before it is published”.
Looks like somebody was really disappointed with what Father Christmas left in his unseasonal stocking.
