Definitely a fake document, because it’s got “PUBIC deed” in it

The document which Brian Tonna and Joseph Muscat cooked up at the eleventh hour, before the PANA Committee session tomorrow, carries the legendary words PUBIC DEED.
It’s an easy mistake to make in the thick of a brothel crisis.
Also, “power of attorneys” is archetypal Maltese English. Everybody else knows, even in Panama, that the plural is ‘powers of attorney’. It’s one of the first things people learn in English lessons in primary school: that the plural of brother-in-law is brothers-in-law and not brother-in-laws.
The only people who never seem to learn this are Maltese people, so no prizes for guessing who wrote that rubbish: “Daphne Caruana Galizia who carries a hate blog gave no power of attorneys to the pubic deed.”
