“Ilbislu, Joseph”: PM in Czech Republic + Sweden + muffler for much-needed ego boost

You will notice that George Vella and Louis Grech, Foreign Minister and Minister for Europe, are not all wrapped up in that nice scarf Aunty Phyllis gave them for their birthday, despite being in their 70s. The Prime Minister looks ridiculous. Is he wearing that woolly muffler for physical or psychological comfort?

It looks especially farcical because he’s bald. If you’re not going to wear a hat, and in those circumstances a man absolutely cannot (though I wouldn’t put it past him to waddle up in a beanie), please don’t wear a scarf to highlight the fact that the top of your head is freezing.

These pictures show that his woolly wrap travelled with him from Sweden to the Czech Republic.
