Imagine any other prime minister tweeting a picture of himself kissing the Chancellor

Let your aides tweet it, for heaven’s sake, if they must – but don’t tweet it yourself. And the fascinating thing about this picture is the body language: the Maltese prime minister is not kissing the German Chancellor as an equal, adult to adult, head of government to head of government.
It’s Joseph Muscat kissing Zija Angela goodbye after a wedding reception. That is so weird.
