Robert and Lydia Abela are still busy hoovering up government retainers

The Planning Authority, the state utilities billing agency ARMS Ltd, and now, in the current issue of the Government Gazette, also the Grand Harbour Regeneration Corporation.

Robert Abela’s father is the former deputy leader of the Labour Party and head of state, George Abela, and his wife Lydia is the Labour Party’s executive secretary. They’re busy living off the fat of the land, having already lived high on the hog when daddy was the president.
