Taxpayers to fund ‘bachelor pad’ in the capital for Gozo minister

Public funds are being used to restore and refurbish an old house, which is state property, on Valletta’s Melita Street, for the exclusive use of Gozo Minister Anton Refalo.

He will this as a ‘second home’ where he will sleep after late sessions in parliament or when stormy weather means he can’t cross over to Gozo, where he lives.

This information was given by the Minister himself in parliament, in response to a question by Opposition MP Chris Said.
