Malta’s Commissioner of Law Reform praises Panama Papers minister
All that talk about oligarchies, cliques, intrigue and corruption has been washed down the plughole with the effluent from his canary-cages. Looks like he was one of them all along.
So now Malta has a Broadcasting Authority chairman working as a person of trust for the deputy Prime Minister, harassing the authority’s staff and throwing her weight around despite knowing nothing about broadcasting or the Constitution. And Malta also has a Commissioner for Law Reform who spends the day defending petty criminals in court, walking up and down Republic Street, praising crooked cabinet ministers with companies in Panama, and insulting Opposition politicians.
And that’s just two of them.
No wonder anyone with brains feels completely unsafe in this increasingly rackety scenario.
