Things have come to a tragic pass in Malta. Now we have the Prime Minister standing by his man Konrad Mizzi, who has put 150 men on the payroll at the Water Services Corporation in exchange for votes for himself personally, and then insulting the Opposition in parliament, whose job it is to scrutinise these matters, by giving a cocky, insulting and unbecoming answer.

When the Prime Minister is asked a valid question about a matter of serious concern to the public, and his response is a cocky insult, he has insulted not the Opposition but the public.
