How quickly we forget. Joseph Muscat had very rudely refused Prime Minister Gonzi’s invitation to a formal farewell dinner when Eddie Fenech Adami stepped down as head of state. “I would prefer to eat a hamburger,” he said.
That was then, when he was trying to win the admiration of chippy people. And this is now. Now, he not only goes to state dinners, but he also spends around €15,000 on a six-day luxury holiday.
