To free up the public land at St George’s Bay, so as to sell it unencumbered to Labour crony Silvio Debono, who is the deputy Opposition leader’s client – for €15m in staggered interest-free payments over seven years – the government will close down the catering college which stands on that land and build another one in inconvenient Ricasoli at a cost to the taxpayer of €75 million.
